Appliances are mostly steel, so we take them to metal recyclers rather than the landfill. The metal gets melted down and reused.

How appliance removal works

Text or email us a photo and tell us where the appliance is, whether that's the kitchen, the laundry room or the basement. We'll send back a clear, upfront price, usually within a few hours.

On the day, we carry it out, up the stairs if needed, and load it ourselves. You don't lift a thing.

Fridges, freezers and air conditioners

Anything with refrigerant needs it removed by a certified technician before it can be recycled. There are two ways to handle that, and either one works for us.

If you've already had the refrigerant removed and the unit tagged, we'll take it as is. If not, that's fine too: we take it to a metal recycler that removes the refrigerant before recycling.
